Bali Pops

Most quilters are familiar with the “Jelly Roll”. If you aren’t, then it’s a group of pre-cut strips of fabric which are 2 1/2″ wide by the width of the fabric. There are now lots of patterns to use with the jelly rolls to make some interesting quilts.
Now Hoffman has jumped into the mix with their Cotton Batik Bali Pops. There are 6 flavors of Bali Pops which include Kiwiberry, Mulberry, Butterscotch, Strawberry Fields, Mint Chip and Sherbert. If you are a batik fan, you just won’t be able to resist getting these Bali Pops. Consider yourself warned, they are fantastic.
Each Bali Pop has 40 2 1/2″ strips of different cotton batiks. They retail for $34.98. Each of the packs is wrapped to keep you fabrics separated so that you can see each of the wonderful prints.
I wish my picture didn’t have the “glare” from the package wrapping, so you will just have to come by the shop and take a closer look, but remember, we warned you how irrestistable they are.
We have added a nice selection of Dupioni Silk fat quarters for any of your crazy quilt projects, small bags or pillows.
If your mind needs a little push as to what might be fun to do with these fabrics, then you will want to come and take a peek at the new book Silk Unravelled.
