We are always so eager to put up new fabrics that we have just received, but we also carry over 400 book titles.  We have some of the most inspiring books in our shop so we want to start bringing some of these great titles to your attention. 

    For inspiration and color, what could be more outstanding than the new book Country Garden Quilts  from Kaffee Fassett.  This book has 20 designs, each shown with wonderful color photography. 

   This book sells for $24.95.  Even if you never make a quilt from this book, studying the color combinations used in it will inspire you to try more daring color combinations.

This is another one of the “Wow” books with so many creative ideas for transforming just plain fabric or objects into something special.

  This book has so many technques and ideas, but I love her basic principles.   Work quickly.  Don’t over analyze.  But most importantly I love…Don’t worry about being neat.  You can buy neat in a store.  And above all…It’s OK if you don’t like it.

   I will be taking a copy of this book home for my personal fun because I really want to do something where I don’t have to worry about the “neat” thing.
